Karly Meyer

Executive Director

Karly is studying Public Health at GW's Milken Institute of Public Health and is a member of the University Honors program. She is passionate about reducing the disproportional gaps and disparities in healthcare. This past spring, Karly worked as a research assistant at the National Children's Hospital. Growing up in New Hampshire, Karly loves the outdoors whether it be hiking, surfing, or skiing.

Vibha Govindarajan

Communications Director

Vibha is a sophomore at the Elliott School majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Global Public Health. She is from Fremont, California and is a sister of Sigma Psi Zeta. This is Vibha’s second year on E-board as she was previously the Director of Media last school year. Some of her hobbies include listening to podcasts after waking up and before sleeping to stay updated on the news, and watching a lot of international television.

Danielle Rodriguez

Recruitment Director

Dani is a junior at the Elliott School of International Affairs studying IA with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and Latin America. She is also minoring in Chinese and speaks Spanish. Freshman year, Dani lived in Paris where she discovered her love for macarons and began baking pastries herself. She is passionate about speaking and advocating for LGBT and BIPOC rights. She hopes to attend law school in the future and focus on international or human rights law.

Allyson Bonhaus

Finance Director

Allyson is a sophomore studying History at CCAS on the pre-law track. She is also studying English and Women’s Gender Studies. She is the Financial Director of WYSE and the Literary Chair for Alpha Delta Phi. She is addicted to iced lattes and loves all types of writing!

Maggie Leaf

Events Chair

Maggie is a sophomore majoring in political communication at GW’s School of Media and Public Affairs. On campus, she is involved in activities such as WYSE (of course), club and intramural basketball, and writing for MediaFile. Maggie is particularly interested in the prison-industrial complex, and justice initiatives that combat it. She loves cooking and baking (experimenting recently with vegan/vegetarian options), coffee and matcha, reading, fashion, trying new foods, being a part of WYSE, and finding new shows on Hulu, Netflix, etc.

Andrea Jara

Creative Chair

Andrea is a student of the Colombian College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a neuroscience and psychology double major. She is part of multiple social justice clubs/organizations and likes making art during her free time. She has three pets, a dog and two cats, all of whom she loves equally.
